What is it?
Sexual health is a vital aspect of your physical and emotional well-being. With aging (particularly post-menopausal), many women experience urinary incontinence, lowered libido, vaginal dryness or even sexual dysfunction. But with the amazing Orgasm Shot (the “O Shot”), you no longer have to live with these frustrating symptoms.
The O Shot is a safe, nonsurgical treatment that helps stimulate tissue rejuvenation around the clitoris and vaginal opening. Luxura is one of the few destinations that offer the O Shot through exosomes or platelet-rich plasma (“PRP”). PRP/Exosome therapies have been used medically for years to repair connective tissue and regenerate muscles and bones.
What are the benefits?
Benefits of the O Shot include:
- Increase G-spot and clitoral responsiveness
- Increased vaginal tightness
- Stronger and more frequent orgasms
- Decreased urinary incontinence
- Improved skin texture of the vulva (vaginal lips)
- Reduction in pain during intercourse
- Increased sexual desire and libido
What is the process?
Your visit for the O shot should take no more than 45 minutes. Steps to the O Shot may include:
For the PRP O Shot, patients will have blood drawn from their arm. This will feel just like routine lab work done for your physical. The blood is then processed in a centrifuge that will spin your blood at a very high-velocity to separate the plasma from the red blood cells.
Next, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the vagina to ensure your comfort.
After the plasma has been isolated in a syringe, the platelets will be injected to your clitoris and upper vaginal area.
Side Effects
There are usually very few side effects to the O Shot, and that is mainly due to the biological nature of exosomes and PRP. As the exosomes or PRP get absorbed in the vaginal tissues, slight swelling may develop or you may also feel a little sore. However, these side effects should only last a day or two. Most women are able to resume their normal day-to-day activities immediately after their visit.
How often should I get the O Shot?
Some women report an almost immediate improvement in their sexual arousal and orgasm intensity, but the full effect of the treatment could take up to several months. As time goes on, your vaginal tissues will become more supple and firm, and eventually you’ll feel more lubricated. In more severe cases, we recommend a second O shot between eight to twelve weeks after the first shot. While it depends on your body, the effects of the O shot can last for years.
Can the O Shot be combined with other treatments?
Absolutely! But always consult before multiple treatments.
